Xbox on the SEGA fork on the road, may stop making consoles, former Playstation Boss says

Former Playstation boss Shawn Layden said he believes Microsoft is “fork on the road” and questioned whether the company will continue to release consoles.

“I think Sega realizes they'd better be a software house. I think Microsoft is on the same fork on the road. And I don't think their hardware products are persuasive enough to make up for the ground they've lost.”

The company now brings many of its games to rival platforms like the PS5 and Switch to generate more revenue.
