This year's summer competition festival includes the announcement of Brass Lion Entertainment's new Wu-Tang Clan Game: a collaborative action RPG called Wu-Tang: The Rise of the Deception.
Wu-Tang: The Rise of the Deception brings up to four co-operative players together…well, the Nominal Deception and Saves their home Shaolin. The game combines African-American carnival and anime and comes with classic Wu-Tang songs and new music from DJ Just Blaze. According to the press release, the project started as a partner with Wu-Tang member Ghostface Killah and RZA’s upcoming horror movie Angel.
“Creating the Dust Angel has always been an incredible journey,” Ghostface Killah said in a statement. “Turning the story to life through movies is just the beginning. Now, as video games evolve, we are taking fans deeper into this supernatural thriller. It's about fusion music, storytelling and interactive experiences. I can't wait for fans to step into the darkness and discover what's below.”
Wu-Tang: The Rise of the Scammer will be launched on the PC later and will be launched on the console later. This is the 1999 PlayStation Battle Game Wu-Tang: The second Wu-Tang family-centric video game in the Shaolin style.
