Warhammer 40,000 Maker Games Workshop did a great job of providing $27 million to employees

Boom Time continues to be held at Warhammer 40,000 Maker Games Worksop, which has announced the bonus of £20 million (about $27 million) to its employees.
The Nottingham behind Warhammer's tabletop gaming and its vast environment, the British company said that core revenue was £560 million for the 52 weeks ended June 1, 2025, up from £494.7 million in the previous period. Licensing revenue is £50 million, up from £31 million. Core profit was £210 million, up from £174.8 million, and licensed profit was £45 million, up from £27 million. This constitutes a pre-tax profit of £255 million, up from £203 million.
Games Workshop provides employees with £20 million on the back of these huge profits, as well as “recognizing our employees’ contribution to these results”, up from £18 million issued last year. The money will be paid to each employee on an equal basis. Games Workshop has an estimated employee of about 1,500. If this is accurate, it means that the setting for each employee is £13,333 (approximately $18,000).
Games Workshop's main business is to sell micro-fan assembly and paint for desktop war games such as Warhammer 40,000. But it's an increasing number of intellectual property businesses, with huge revenue coming from huge video games like last year Warhammer 40,000: Space Navy 2and animations, such as Amazon's Warhammer 40,000 Secret Level. last year, Games Workshop and Amazon finalize deal for Henry Cavill's Warhammer 40,000 Cinematic Universewhich will involve the creation of films and TV series. Space Ocean 3 is also under development.
Where does Games Workshop go from here? The company noted that licensing revenues during the period were at record levels and although it remains a core focus, it does not expect to repeat in 2025/26. Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer are usually bigger than ever, and based on these results, it won't slow down any time soon.
