Vampire Survivor 2 isn't out of the question, as Poncle teases it's 'doing something'

Developer Poncle says its new announcement vampire creeper More of a spin-off than a sequel, it sounds like Vampire Survivor 2 may actually be in the works as well.
Fans raised eyebrows as the studio behind the hit monster-slaying video game completed production New game Vampire Crawlers announced During today's Xbox Partner Preview. “This is just a spin-off of Vampire Survivor – hopefully the first in a series of spin-offs!” said studio founder and CEO Luca Galante. “The idea is to take some of the core pillars behind VS development and apply them to existing game types. I'm talking accessibility, immediacy, affordability, replayability, and sparkle. Lots of sparkle!”
There's no doubt this is an idea that fans of Vampire Survivor at large will be fascinated by, especially with Punk teasing that this could be more than one spin-off. Sadly, there's no 2 next to the title, which means Vampire Creepers plans to offer something different than the core experience, but fans hoping for a follow-up might not want to count on Vampire Survivor 2 just yet.
“About the sequel to Vampire Survivor, we are working on somethingbut we’re not discussing that right now,” Galante added.
Although it was just a thank you, it was enough to confirm that Poncle had many ideas brewing for future vampire survivors. Whether that's a 2 next to the original title's name or a completely different outcome, we'll have to wait and see.
At the same time, Vampire Creepers seeks to combine the humor the series is known for with a new gameplay loop. Galante said Punkle has been working on the spin-off's trailer for about four years, and the trailer revealed that the gameplay will shift to first-person gameplay and include some dungeon crawling.
Vampire Survivor 2 may still be years away from being released. In the meantime, players can look forward to Vampire Creepers on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X | 2026S.
