Just weeks after Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 release, remakes of these classic skateboarding games will be held on July 11 on two generations of PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Consoles, as well as on PC. In addition to overhauling graphics and enhanced game mechanics, the series also features new and return levels, skaters and licensed tracks. Activision is releasing separate physical versions for PS5 and PS4. The PS4 version can be upgraded to PS5, although it is not clear what the upgrade costs are, as the digital version is the same as the price of both platforms.
Nintendo players can choose between Switch or Switch 2 versions. The Switch version comes with a game card, but needs to be downloaded; the Switch version 2 is the download code in the box. At the moment, there seems to be no upgrade path from the switch to the Switch 2. The standard version costs $50, no matter which switch console you buy.
If you purchase a digital version for PlayStation, you can access the PS5 and PS4 versions of the series. Meanwhile, buying digital copies from the Xbox Store can unlock games on Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (via the Windows Store). The Nintendo Switch Digital Edition will be available on Switch 2, but is not listed as “cross-natural” like other platforms.

The collector version does not work with PlayStation 4 or Nintendo Switch 2. Since Activision has not announced the switch to the upgrade path for Switch 2, if a version of Collector is required, the Switch 2 owner may be limited to the regular switch version.
