Part of the Warner Archive Collection, this six-disc standard Blu-ray collection includes a total of 114 shorts, presented in chronological order and 1080p. These first appeared before the main feature film presentation in the cinema from 1940 to 1958, the three shorts – Casanova, Mouse Cleaner and His Mouse Friday – were first completely remade.
Additionally, the series comes with a 28-page brochure with artwork and papers, 20 audio reviews, three-hour bonus features, and two brand new specialties – Lady in the House: Mammy Two Shoes and Animal Hijinks' Story: Tom's Friends and Enemies. The cover also nodded to the animated shorts, with Tom wearing a Zoot suit illustration from 1944's The Zoot Cat.

As mentioned above, the repaired shorts mouse cleaning and Casanova cat was first released in the home media in the United States. These are the controversial Tom and Jerry plots because they are racially insensitive, and they are planned to appear in Tom and Jerry: The Golden Collection Volume 2, but the version was eventually cancelled. Over the years, these shorts have added disclaimers to these shorts to show their historical context, problematic nature and racially insensitive jokes, so older (very outdated people) have appeared in several other Warner Archives versions.
