Eriksholm's isometric gameplay: The stolen dream may not be the adventure game style you've ever experienced. But this gorgeous title was created by a handful of Mirror's edge and battlefield developers who teamed up to bring Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream to life. The game is scheduled to be released next month, but you can play immediately with the newly released demo.
Swedish Studio River End Games shares Eriksholm's demo: The stolen dream steam and Epic game store. The game was set in the early 1900s, in a world that wasn't exactly like our own. The city of Eriksholm was shocked by a disease called Heartpox, and a little boy named Herman disappeared in a blur.
Herman's brother Hanna is the main character in the game, but as the story progresses, she will join two other characters, Alva and Sebastian. Each of the three main children has different abilities that can lift them out of obstacles or out of trouble. But the bets they pursued were even higher than they realized, and the secrets they discovered could inspire “a series of catastrophic events that will change their lives and the fate of the entire city forever.”
As mentioned earlier GamesRadarthe development team behind Eriksholm is composed of only 16 people. Creative Director Anders Hejdenberg acknowledged that before adding “the thing we do”, there was a inherent difficulty in playing a full game with very few people, not because they were easy, but because we thought they were easy. ”
Eriksholm: “Inception” will be released on the Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC on July 15.
