The Predator franchise is looking for its first great video game

Of all the Predator games to date, Hunting Grounds has the most potential. There is something admirable about it. Schwarzenegger reprises his role as Dutch from the first film, while Alice Braga and Jake Busey voice their roles in Predator and Predator respectively. More importantly, the graphics look pretty good, and it feels great to play a Predator hunting prey in the treetops. If anything, Predator deserves an Assassin's Creed style game.

However, this asymmetrical multiplayer goes a little too far in balancing the playing field between predators and players controlling soldiers. Despite the Predator's advanced technology, it's relatively easy to spot him in the jungle and gang up on him until he's dead. This may be the best game in the series, but it ultimately disappoints and never reaches its full potential.
