The next entry in the Persona 5 series The Phantom X is finally released globally

After launching in South Korea, China and Taiwan in April 2024, Character 5: Phantom x Finally there is a global release date. The Persona 5 spinoff will be available on PC and mobile devices on June 26, 2025, and brings the series' stylish fashion-based battles and a brand new Phantom Thieves.

As a collaboration between Atlus’ P-Studio and Chinese developer Black Wing games, Persona 5: Phantom X is a mobile-centric title that brings players back to the world Role 5although it is a new character, and in slightly different situations. In it, the player controls the Miracle, a sophomore high school student at Kokatsu Academy whose worldview is transferred when encountering a mysterious owl-like creature, Lufel. After some good old-fashioned fairs, the duo eventually strives to recruit new Phantom Thieves, whose ultimate goal is to restore the concept of desire to humanity and prevent the mysterious power from taking it away.

With it comes an ever-expanding live service adventure filled with many round-based combat, social simulation and time management elements found in Mainline character titles. Players will have the opportunity to explore new areas of dungeons and souvenirs, work part-time jobs, join after-school clubs, enhance their roles, improve the social statistics of miracles, and build a romantic relationship while experiencing the original story. Players can also expect fans' favorite character characters – Average Joker, Ann, Ryuji and the rest of the original Phantom Thieves – to appear in the game via a special contract. Finally, Phantom X also introduces new elements from the series, including PVE-focused Velvet trials, mini-games, and the ability to create and join guilds.

Since its release last year, the title has received a lot of praise for its story and new character performances, and players say both are comparable to those in Character 5.

However, it is important to note that the upcoming title has GACHA elements, similar to games like Genshin Impact or Wuthering Wave. Although you don't have To spend money to play on Phantom X, players are usually encouraged to participate in the game, which is definitely a barrier when fully enjoying the game.
