The brand’s initial signing announced a new horror-focused publishing label called Black Lantern Collective. Slate has been announced for 10 games, some of whom have been newly revealed, while others have been known before, but now works with Black Lantern Collective.
The tag is led by Ted Hentschke, who previously worked at Dreadxp (another with a horror tag) and critical reflection. Despite being under Hentschke, while not a horror tag like Dreadxp, Critical Reflex is particularly interested in horror gaming, including the 2024 breakthrough hit, mouthwash.
During his conversation with Gamespot, Hentschke talked about his always-on horror game obsession, saying, “With Black Lantern Collective, I just want to do too cool shit. I did cool shit with Dreadxp. I was lucky to be able to do some cool shit with the cool people in Pricial Reflex, my strategy is always busy with people, I'm always looking for weird people and want people to be full of energy and hope they can be full of energy. That.

With the tags getting up and running, horror fans are sure to be most interested in learning about the company’s initial wave of announcements. Here are 10 games announced by Black Lantern Collective.
The list includes PS1 inspired survival horror game, a new sequel from a popular monster dating sim, your fight against evil billionaires in Deadly Die's game, and Half-Effiend 2 Life 2 Mod Reborn as a first-person horror story, and more.
