After selling out during its Black Friday sale, Amazon has restocked its popular new hardcover box set featuring illustrated versions of JRR Tolkien's beloved fantasy novels. Published by William Morrow on October 14th, The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings box set illustrated by Alan Lee Nearly 50% off on Amazon and Walmart. Tolkien fans can get this beautiful set for just $78.33 (originally $150). If you're buying this as a Christmas gift, be aware that Amazon currently expects delivery from December 22 to January 5, while Walmart will deliver next week.
Although not as gorgeous as last year Lord of the Rings Deluxe Illustration Setglad to have a companion version of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit set. This is especially true when talking about the iconic versions drawn by the concept designers of the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit film trilogies. The new four-volume collection includes a redesigned Centenary Edition of The Lord of the Rings (published in 1992 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Tolkien's birth) and a 60th Anniversary Edition of The Hobbit (1997).
