fortnite Fans believe the game will soon have a mini-season dedicated to The Simpsonsfollowing the show's Kang and Kodos appearing in the game.
Rumors that a Simpsons-themed mini-season was in development have continued this year, and the game's most recent Star Wars mini-season was labeled “Chapter 6: Mini-Season 1,” fueling speculation even further. Since Fortnite chapters (essentially the game's annual era) typically last 12 months, fans believe mini-Season 2 will likely launch sometime before the chapter is expected to end in December.
Now, as Fortnite's massive Halloween festivities kick off, an in-game glider item has been spotted featuring The Simpsons' alien duo Kang and Kodos, and its description even mentions a dedicated battle pass.

The glider marks the first time a character from The Simpsons has appeared in Fortnite, which to date has partnered with nearly every major Disney-owned property (including characters from Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, Avatar, and other Fox-owned franchises like Family Guy).
Kang and Kodos will reportedly become free mission rewards for players in the near future – possibly as a teaser for the game's upcoming Simpsons extravaganza, or as a nod to the show's annual Halloween celebration, Treehouse of Horror.
The Simpsons recently kicked off its 37th season with an episode in which Marge reminisced about the '90s and Homer reflected on how quickly movies have grown on streaming platforms. With the launch of this season, 'The Simpsons' co-showrunner Matt Selman says show creators don't want show to become more topical “Because this topic is so confusing and crazy.”
Fortnite fans have high hopes for a future Simpsons crossover in Fortnite, which appears to be arriving by the end of the year, after the game temporarily transitioned to an OG Chapter 1 map (2023) and then a Snoop Dogg/Eminem remixed Chapter 2 map (2024).
Could The Simpsons be a turning point in revisiting the Fortnite Chapter 3 era, or are players heading towards a brand new Springfield-themed map? Currently, Fortnite is still busy with its busiest Fortnite launch ever, which includes collaborations with Wednesday, the Scooby Gang, and Ghostface from Scream.
Last night's Fortnite reveal didn't exactly go as planned, however, as Rap star Doja Cat blasts kafabe criticism for posting a message that was designed to look like she wrote it, which mentioned sex toys.
