The Lonely Wolf and Cubs Deluxe Edition Comic Booking is Live

There are no shortage of manga that must be read, but if you are looking for groundbreaking samurai epics, you can check out the lone wolf and the cub yourself. Written by Kazuo Koike and illustrated by Goseki Kojima, the comic series is being collected New Deluxe Edition High-end Dark Horse and the first two can be booked at $55 each. Volume 1 was released on December 9and Volume 2 Stores next March.

From 1970 to 1976, Lone Wolf and Cub initially ran 28 volumes. The comic tells the story of Ogami Itto, who used to be Shogun's execution bone until he was formed by the rival Yagyu family and fell from Grace. After his wife was murdered, the ITTO had to raise his three-year-old son by himself as he embarked on the road of Ronin and seeks revenge.

This new version of the classic comic reprints it into an oversized 7″ x 10″ format so that you can absorb all the beautiful details from the artwork. The cover has a grainy texture, polished, and has letters and illustrations of foil stamp. It also has built-in ribbon bookmarks and is printed in traditional left comic format.

On page 720, Deluxe Edition Book 1 covers Lone Wolf and Cubs 1-2, with several volumes of Volume 3.

The second Lonely Wolf and Cub Deluxe Edition keeps the same oversized hardcover format intact, and is also 720 pages. It retains the same overlay aesthetic but has different characteristics. It will have the same quality features as the first book, including a textured cover with foil stamp and a ribbon bookmark. It collects the rest of Volume 3 as well as Volume 4 and 5.

The story sees it continues his relentless pursuit of retribution, facing the enemy while protecting his son. As the bodies piled up, the Yagyu clan sent both an elite assassin and another skilled swordsman from a rival clan to deal with ITTO once and for all.

If you want a full comic series, Dark Horse does offer a comprehensive version you can collect ($25 each), although it has a more standard quality compared to the luxury version listed above. Most comprehensive versions cost around $20.

For decades, lonely wolf and cubs have been weaving a moving story about fatherhood and are considered one of the most influential comic series of all time. It is considered its genre for the powerful men who start protecting their children while embarking on a dangerous journey, and over the years it has been adapted into film and television series.

There were six lonely wolf and cub movies between 1972 and 1974. The entire collection on Blu-ray is available for $50 ($100) As part 50% off Criterion Collection on Amazon. The promotion will expire on July 27, so it can be checked out if possible.

It's a cruel and bloody collection of movies, with the standard series augmenting them with digital restoration, an uncompressed mono soundtrack and plenty of bonus material.
