“The feedback we got was very reasonable” – Helldivers 2 developers push back content and feature updates to address performance issues first

Last week, developer Arrowhead Studios said it still had no solution for the shooter's installation size issues on PC. But does confirm it's working on it. In an update posted on Steam, Arrowhead's deputy technical director Brendan Armstrong penned the first in a series of posts in which the engineering team discusses the “technical health” of the game and “the technical challenges we're addressing.” While the developer admits that install size “seems to be a hot topic right now” – at 150GB, Hellraiser 2 takes up three times as much space on PC as it does on console – the developer reveals that one of the reasons the PC size is so large is because of data duplication and mechanical hard drives.
