“The Fast and the Furious” Justin Lin to direct the movie “Hell Divers”

Justin Lin will reportedly direct the upcoming film based on Arrowhead Game Studios' Helldivers series hollywood reporter. Mr. Lin is known for his work in several “Fast and Furious” films and served as the director of the 2006 “Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift” series until the 2013 “Fast and Furious 6” series.

This isn't the first time Lin has set his sights on outer space, as he also directed “Star Trek Beyond” in 2016 before returning to the “Fast and Furious” franchise for 2021's “F9” (in which he launched Ludacris and Tyrese Gibson into real orbit in a 1984 Pontiac Fiero).

The “Helldiver” movie is written by Gary Dauberman, the screenwriter of several “Annabelle” movies and “The Nun,” as well as co-screenwriter of 2017's “It” and screenwriter of the 2019 sequel “It Chapter 2.”
