A professional fighting game player's reaction to losing Deadly Anger: Wolf Market So dramatic that it is popular on social media and has shown signs of becoming a meme.
If you've been working on the social media sections related to the game today, you'll likely stumble upon a photo or clip of Japanese player Kazuyuki'Kojikog'Koji, screaming and opening his mouth and grabbing his head, while other players Goichi” Go1″ Go1″ Kishida kishida mixed with following and bemusement. The player in question is Kojikog, an esports professional from Japan, who specializes in combat games such as Street Fighter, Fighters of Fighters of Fighters and Guilty Gear. This weekend, he participated in the semi-finals of the championship with Japanese player GO1 (Goichi) in the 2025 Evolution Championship Series (EVO2025).
Although GO1 won two rounds (and continued to win), the battle was very close. After being defeated, Kogekog opened his head with his mouth and kept screaming, worth it… well, Edvard Munch’s scream. This dramatic emotional outburst, coupled with the incredible GO1, led to many meme-worthy shots.
I swear to God I'm not making fun of this guy, but no one looks like suffering in human history like this pic.twitter.com/jekibl1f0a

Kojikog finally got rid of his failed position and could be seen chatting with GO1 and sorting it out. His behavior can be clearly seen from this. However, the shorter clips on social media have led to some unfamiliar with Kojikog's antics worrying that he does have a real breakdown.

Kojikog is known for being a bit of a comedian, often making screaming poses and pulling funny faces in interviews (Like on EWC2025). His dramatic reaction to the failure of this weekend may have been mentioned before when he was in EVO15 against Go1. He saw from the video below that he did a similar screaming position, confusingly the Japanese commentator, as his antics were not well known at the time.
10 years ago, GO1 made its first EVO and won 4 games – Malt, Dengeki Bunko, Uni and Aquapazza, defeating Kojikog in the final

Commenting on this comment, the legendary Pro Gight Game player Daigo Umehara thought that Kojikog's reaction was like a character in the Saw movie, with their legs cut off. This is why many Japanese fans commonly call Kojikog's dramatic and painful reactions “leg cutting incident” and so on.
Although Kojikog lost the game against GO1 in EVO2025, he ranked fifth overall, winning 80% of his matches in “Deadly Furious: Wolf Market”.
