“The Chronicles of Narnia” launches 75th anniversary exquisite collector's edition

The Chronicles of Narnia Deluxe Hardcover Box Set Comes with a slipcase featuring Aslan's vibrant artwork. As mentioned earlier, this hardcover set was launched in July with a rather hefty price tag of $140. The current price of $55.15 is an all-time low for the box; earlier this month, it sold for nearly $80.

You may miss out on the fancy metal cover, decorative page edges, and foil-gilt box, but the deluxe hardcover box set is a better choice for kids and anyone concerned about the readability of comprehensive edition fonts.

The individual hardcover editions have similar page sizes (6 x 9 inches), but the seven novels combined have 1,668 pages, more than twice the combined volume. If you compare the example page The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe Taken together, you'll notice that the individual hardcovers in this boxed set use larger fonts.

HarperCollins also publishes New set paperbackalthough it's not much cheaper than the better hardcover series.
