It also features four built-in back buttons, an adjustable trigger stop, high-fidelity audio, and comes with a handsome hardshell carrying case and braided USB-C cable.

Here's a quick overview of the Victrix Pro BFG's key features and what's included in the box. All components and core functionality are the same on both consoles. Of course, the button labels and settings buttons are different; the PlayStation version has a DualSense-like touchpad, while the Xbox version has a Guide button. The PlayStation version supports Tempest 3D Audio, while the Xbox version supports Dolby Atmos.

PDP has also partnered with Activision Blizzard to develop two Call of Duty themed Pro BFG controllers for PlayStation. Unfortunately, midnight mask and Live operation version It seems to be discontinued, so you can only find it used on Amazon.
Using the included tool, you can quickly remove the Pro BFG's faceplate to change the control layout. The modular design allows you to configure the Pro BFG's joystick to match the PlayStation or Xbox layout (parallel or offset). It also comes with four thumbstick caps, four stick grilles, and three D-pad styles: 8-way, 4-way, and the solid square model shown in the promotional images. The module on the right can be replaced with a six-button battle pad.
The Pro BFG's R2/L2 or RT/LT trigger lock has five different stops and four built-in back buttons for instant remappability. You can also use the Victrix Control Hub app on your PC to remap inputs and save up to three custom profiles. You have more control over your experience with the app, but unfortunately it's only available on PC. That said, adjustments are saved to the controller, so as long as you have a PC you can still take advantage of features like adjusting stick and trigger sensitivity, setting analog stick dead zones, and adjusting sound profiles. The Pro BFG has built-in low-latency audio, giving you deep control over your headphone audio experience, but keep in mind you'll need to connect your headphones to the 3.5mm jack on the bottom of the controller.
The controller syncs wirelessly via 2.4GHz (USB-A adapter) to your PS5/PS4 and PC or Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. Alternatively, you can use a long braided USB to USB-C cable for a hardwired connection. All of the Pro BFG's accessories have dedicated slots inside the included hard-shell carrying case.

It is worth mentioning that these discounted versions of the Victrix Pro BFG do not have Hall effect bars. I've never had an issue with stick drift, but it's always a possibility. The nice thing is that the defining features here are swappable modules, so if you run into problems you can simply buy a replacement module. Turtle Beach actually sells it Victrix Pro BFG module with Hall effect rod, $40. You can get left and right stick modules for this price.
The Pro BFG should have had Hall effect rockers from the start, but at least the newer Turtle Beach brand Victrix Pro BFG Reloaded with Hall Effect Rod. Turtle Beach has increased the MSRP of the Reloaded version to $210. For context, Turtle Beach acquired PDP in 2024, which resulted in some accessories being reissued under the Turtle Beach brand. The PDP version of the Victrix Pro BFG may not be available for much longer.

More customizable wireless controllers for PS5, Xbox and PC

Amazon also has deals on other pro-style controllers for consoles and PCs. Most notably, Microsoft Xbox Elite Series 2 controller goes on sale $140 (originally $200). Elite Series 2 is the best customizable controller for Xbox and PC. It’s not fully modular like the Pro BFG, but it does feature replaceable lever caps, four remappable rear paddles, trigger lock, custom contours, and the best ergonomics and overall feel.
Amazon is also offering discounts on the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro Wireless Controller for Xbox and PC. It has six remappable inputs, Hall effect bars, and state-of-the-art microswitch buttons. this Wolverine V3 Pro for $170 (originally $200). The offer is available on both black and white models. Razer also makes a wireless PS5 controller called the Wolverine V2 Pro. It has some of the same features as the newer V3 Pro, but the ergonomics and back button placement are worse. If you have big hands, you might like it, though. this Wolverine V2 Pro discounted to $180 (originally $250) on Amazon.
Another heavily discounted option for PlayStation is Nacon Revolution 5 Pro for $150 (originally $200). The Revolution 5 Pro features a premium build with an adjustable weight system, four micro-switch back paddles, and a unique d-pad designed specifically for fighting games. Only the white/black version qualifies for the $50 discount.
It's not on sale, but Xbox gamers should also check out the gorgeous Rare 40th Anniversary Edition 8BitDo Ultimate 3 Mode Controller. This $90 controller and charging base set is officially authorized by Microsoft and is the first 8BitDo wireless controller for Xbox game consoles. It also works wirelessly on PCs, Apple and Android devices. But if you just need a PC controller, Eight Bit Hall Ultimate Edition 2 Features enhanced components, more customization options, and starts at $60. Additionally, Amazon has launched a new Honkai: Star Tracks Collector's Bundle is on sale for $63 (regularly $70). It comes with a charging stand, travel case and various collectibles.
