Marisol Best Benefits and Modification Kits
While we're of course discussing the ideal modes and perks for your party members, it's still worth mentioning that Marisol tends to be one of the best companions in The Outer Worlds 2. This is mainly due to her ability, which stuns a target for a few seconds while making all your shots/hits critical hits. This makes her your first choice when you want to take down bosses and elite leaders.
Welfare:
- Level 5:
- Portable Capacitor Dispenser – Marisol occasionally throws away the cans. Walking over them will restore gadget energy, while shooting them will deal electrical damage in an area.
- Combat Analyzer – Marisol analyzes and tags enemies in combat. Your attacks have bonus effects based on where you hit the target – i.e. knockdowns to the legs, stuns to the head, and bleeding from the torso and arms.
- Level 10:
- Paralysis Charge – Attacking an opponent affected by Marisol's ability restores 10% of the gadget's energy each time damage is dealt.
- Dispersion Glare – Marisol's ability affects nearby enemies around the initial target – i.e. multiple enemies are stunned and suffer a critical hit.
- Level 15:
- Elemental Weapons Specialist – Marisol Recycles impact rods, plasma cells, and biomass ammunition.
- Automech Scrapper – There is a small chance that Automechanicals will provide additional crafting materials.
- Level 20:
- Shield Generator Reflector – Marisol Upgrade your gas energy deflector gadget. Some damage dealt to the shield is reflected back to the attacker.
- N-Ray Scanner Analyzer – Marisol Upgrade your N-Ray Scanner. When activated, it has the same effect as her combat analyzer's body part positioning.
- Level 25:
- Link Charge – Marisol's ability to charge a portion of your gadget's energy.
- Chain Paralysis – If an enemy affected by Marisol's ability is killed, the effect jumps to other enemies within medium range. This effect can trigger multiple times in a single encounter.
- Level 30:
- Power Relay – Marisol throws a gadget to the ground. Weapon damage from party members standing within its aura is converted into electric shock, which also charges your gadgets.
- Psychic Confuser – Marisol throws a gadget that confuses enemies, causing them to wander aimlessly.
Our picks: Combat Analyzer, Dispersion Glare, Elemental Weapons Expert, N-Ray Scanner Analyzer, Chain Paralysis, and Energy Relay.
