The 50 Most Popular Steam Next Fest Demos Featuring Horror and Adventure

The latest edition of Steam Next Fest has concluded, and Steam has shared a list of the 50 most played demos from the week-long event. This year's list is filled with horror, adventure, role-playing, and simulation games. Surprisingly, there are only a handful of roguelike and racing games.

One of the most unusual games is Final Sentence, a battle royale typing game with a fatal ending for any player who can't keep up.

Another game that caught our attention was The Cube, Save Us: an extraction shooter with a very striking visual style.

We have paid attention to Marvel Universe Invasion It's been a while, so it's not too shocking to see it on the list. However, Star Trek: Voyager – Through the Unknownwas unexpected and provided an interesting glimpse into the opportunity to rewrite some of the stories that took place in the series.

Most of the games on the list either have active demos that are still available for download or are already in Early Access. The next edition of Steam Next Fest is scheduled for February 2026, but the full list of the 50 most played demos from this month's event is below.
