Two movies Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise cuts their way to 4K Blu-ray For the first time next week, horror fans can save 50% on Amazon. New limited edition 4K fix for Arrow video 2003 remake of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Begins in 2006 It's only $25 ($50) per person to snap up. If you are interested in owning both movies on 4K, we recommend you get a copy before you release it. The limited edition of Arrow Video is indeed limited, and it is not uncommon for them to sell out shortly after they were put on the shelves. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 4K Limited Edition will be released on August 26.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Limited Edition comes with a 4K Blu-ray (2160p) disc that is compatible with Dolby Vision and HDR10. Surround sound formats include DTS-HD master audio 7.1 and 5.1. Like many limited editions of Arrow videos, the packaging is designed for display. The original illustration of the reversible cover art and sleeves is Aaron Lea, an artist for the Disney and Marvel projects. Lea's artwork also appears on a large double-sided poster. A retrospective illustration collector's booklet by Michael Gingold is also included.
Special features launched include new audio comments, a few new interviews with the crew, and many older content from previous versions. There are three other audio reviews, documentary production, alternative scenes, and more.

It started as a prequel for the 2003 remake. Arrow Video's 4K recovery includes the original dramatic version and the uncut version. Both versions support Dolby Vision and HDR10. The audio options are slightly different between the two. The drama release has DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and 2.0, while the uncut version has these options along with 7.1 surround sound.
The packaging and inserts match the style and tone of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre Limited Edition. Aaron Lea created artwork on reversible covers and sleeves and on double-sided posters. Michael Gingold provides new writing for the illustration collector’s brochure.
There aren't so many special features at the beginning, probably because it already contains two different movies. Most hosted bonus content in this release is new, including new audio reviews and multiple interviews. Archive features include documentary production, director audio reviews without cropping, and more.

There are currently 9 movies in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre series, but 1974 The 1986 sequel is the only entry with a 4K Blu-ray version. Arrow video recently released Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 on 4k Blue Light in the UK. This is a zone-free version, but it's hard to find and more expensive than the upcoming duo, as it's not officially carried by US retailers.
Most new versions released over the years are targeting the original version of 1974. You have many options, including $20.59 Waterskiing 4K Blue Light and Steelbook Edition, $28.65. For more luxurious boxes with collections, check out 50th Anniversary Chain Saw Version. Released last fall, this 4K Blu-ray version comes with a mini chainsaw replica, a 4K Blu-ray with exclusive artwork, a collector box and a VHS version if you have a tape player. The 50th Anniversary Edition is launched for a ridiculously high $400 price, but you can enjoy a 50% discount on Amazon. Yes, $200 is still very expensive. Unlike many horror franchises, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre has not been released as a box set yet, so you will need to purchase each movie separately to complete the collection. Unfortunately, since the Texas Chainsaw Massacre of 2022 is a Netflix movie, it is not possible to fully complete your collection, and the original content of the streamers is rarely off the platform.
