TCGPlayer seal product price beats Amazon (October 14)
Blog Andrew Joseph 14 Oct , 2025 0

It’s time again for my weekly Pokémon TCG sealed product price watch. Surprisingly, TCGPlayer’s secondary market is competing with large retailers like Amazon. Let’s remember that TCGPlayer is a marketplace, so small and medium-sized sellers here are undercutting billion- and trillion-dollar companies.
TL;DR: Today’s Deals
I'll hand it to Amazon, some of the popular products there are cheaper today as well, we're talking about Mega Evolution sealed products, Black Bolt, and even premium collector's boxes. Don’t forget Pokémon Legends: ZA is also out on Thursday, and I’ve got all the pre-order links you need above and below. Is there a song in it? Let’s get started:
Best Cheap on Amazon: Pokémon TCG
Start with Mega Evolution Elite Training Boxwe know that $92.65 is not the MSRP and Amazon is supposed to sell it as-is, but that's where Pokémania 2025 stands right now. it is 7% below current market value If you're struggling to get stock, this is a great deal. at the same time Mega Evolution three-pack blister packs only a dollar cheaperbut that dollar is better in your pocket. this Other savings range from $1 to $5so fill your boots!
TCGPlayer Cheapest: Pokémon TCG
TCGPlayer does appear at major retailers. The secondary market is saving trainers a fortune right now and will continue to do so until The Pokémon Company floods the market with sealed products, which eventually happens. Surging Sparks ETB is a good example, Currently selling for $92.94 on Amazon. if you check TCGPlayer Now You Only Pay $74.95. That's nearly $20 more than market value, and there's a lot more to the carousel above.
MTG: TMNT pre-orders now live
In addition to the new game mode, MTG’s latest launch of Universes Beyond is another huge IP for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Game boosters are available, so it's a good idea to buy a box before pre-orders sell out and building decks becomes more difficult. If you want a solid foundation for your Commander game, but want to modify it with individual cards, the Commander deck is ideal. Of course, the TMNT bundle comes with some goodies, including 9 game boosters, foil alternative art promo cards, 30 land cards, and some neat accessories.
Pokémon Legends: Los Angeles Pre-Order
It’s almost trainer time! On Thursday, the most distinctive mainline Pokémon game, Legend: ZA, was released. As a continuation of Pokémon X and Y, and continuing the gameplay mechanics changes introduced in Legends: Arceus, Legends: ZA will feature all-out real-time combat based on its proven turn-based combat style. This will be a landmark moment for the world's most popular entertainment series, so make sure you pre-order.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (3 months)
Well, the Xbox isn't currently popular with gamers around the world, but you can avoid the Game Pass (eventual) price increase by buying 3 months of Ultimate for $59.99, which is $30 cheaper than the massive price increase. If you have an Xbox, now is a good time to buy Game Pass.
Final Fantasy IX (Nintendo Switch)
In 2000 we gave Final Fantasy IX a rating of 9.2so $40 for a JRPG classic is nothing, right? Well, if the re-release hasn't blown your mind yet, this version comes with high-resolution cutscenes and gameplay modifiers, including high-speed and encounter-less modes and an auto-save feature. In addition, the character models are now high-resolution, so this physical version of FFIX should satisfy your nostalgic appetite.
