Warrior Lite replicates the general shape, layout and color scheme of the original GameCube controller. It's rougher and wider than the real thing, so it doesn't have the same exact form, but it adds several compelling features that make it a versatile option for GameCube games on Switch Online as well as modern Nintendo games.
In addition to providing traditional bumpers and triggers, the Warrior Lite also has two renewable back buttons. The left and right back buttons have a one-piece panel design that can be removed inside the box and switched with a spare panel. The main difference between the two styles of rear buttons is that one is textured and slightly improves haptic feedback.
The Warrior Lite is equipped with a runner hall effect rod. The right stick mimics GameCube's yellow C stick, but you can swap it for a yellow stick with a more regular, more grip. Likewise, you can switch between an octagonal stick door inspired by the GameCube controller and a regular stick door with a circular range of motion.
Facial buttons, 8-way D-pad and shoulder bumpers are driven by micro switches, giving them the feel of a mouse click. Like a stick, the trigger is also activated with a Hall effect sensor and the lock switch can be set at two different stop points on the back. Other core features include built-in, adjustable rumble and 6-axis motion control.
The main drawback here is battery life, as the Lite version has a smaller battery that can only be fully charged for up to five hours. Like many Bluetooth controllers for switch 2 and switches, you can use Warrior Lite on your PC, mobile, steam deck, and other devices.

The NYXI Wizard works on the Nintendo Switch 2, but you can only use it for docking or desktop mode. On the original switch and switch OLED, the wizard can replace your Joy-Con in handheld mode. The left and right sides are separated from the central bridge and are connected to the console by sliding mechanisms. The Switch 2 uses a magnetic connection method to the updated Joy-Con 2 controller, which makes the Wizard incompatible with Nintendo's new console for portable gaming.
If you're choosing one of the NYXI GameCube-style controllers specifically for the Nintendo Switch 2, most players should choose Warrior or Warrior Lite. However, if you still use two consoles, a wizard may be a more interesting option. However, there are some differences between the warrior and the wizard controller.
The wizard's mechanical trigger and bumper are smaller. Unlike Warriors, it does not have a dual trigger mode. All four shoulder buttons are activated by microswitches. These feel great, but you can't switch to the traditional trigger pull action like you would on the Warrior. Two built-in textured back buttons are located on natural spots and feel great.
Abxy's Face Button Labels feature customizable lighting effects, which is a cool addition, despite the button and 4-way D-Pad Ditch Ditch, mini switches for traditional membranes.
No matter which basic color you choose, the Wizard has a gray and a yellow hall effect bar. The box contains round and octagonal stick doors, but if you want a smaller C adhesive, you need to buy the thumb kit from Nyxi for $10 – unless you have one of the warrior controllers as they use the same sticks and doors.
Other features include 6-axis motion controls, adjustable rumble and turbo buttons on both sides. Battery life belongs to the unity of warriors and warriors.
It is worth noting that NYXI recently launched “The Witcher 2”. Like the wizard, the second generation model runs in handheld mode on switches and switch OLEDs. If you buy it for the Switch 2, it will work only in TV mode. Wizard 2 upgrades the TMR joystick, dual trigger mode and micro switch face buttons. Essentially, NYXI implements some of the features found in its warrior controllers that are newer than the original wizard. this Wizard 2 retails for $90 And no discount has been received yet.

More GameCube Controllers for Switch 2 and Switch
From a custom perspective, the Warrior Series is the most impressive GameCube-style controller we've tried, but the Switch 2 also has other GameCube controllers that offer a more realistic experience. As mentioned earlier, Nintendo's Wireless GameCube Controller 2 As close as the original you found. It feels almost exactly like the original, without cables, with a few extra small buttons on the top: the C button for GameChat, the Home/Menu button and a small ZL button to make up for the fact that the GameCube controller has only one shoulder button. But while this is the best choice for GameCube games on the online Switch, the above-mentioned Tiny ZL button makes it less ideal for modern gaming.
Unfortunately, the official price of the Nintendo Switch Online GameCube controller has recently risen to $70.
Official license Powera's GameCube Style Controller and Yellow Added by Nintendo-style design with modern shoulders and touch release layouts.
