The Hunger Games was published in 2008, and two sequels, Catching Fire and Mockingjay, were published in 2009-10. After 10 years, Collins returned in 2020 with “Song of Songbirds and Snakes.” The novel is set 64 years before Katniss volunteered to join the army, focusing on the young Coriolanus Snow and the 10th Hunger Games. Reaping Sunrise tells the story of Haymitch Abernathy, one of the District 12 tribute characters in the 50th Hunger Games, which takes place approximately 25 years before the original novel.
If you haven't read the entire series, it's generally recommended to read them in publication order, but you can also read them in chronological order: The Ballad of Birds and Snakes, then Harvest Sunrise, and then the original trilogy.
