Play as a space merchant, selling and trading your wares across the galaxy in Stellar Trader, a new 4X space trading sci-fi simulation game in development for PC. You'll build space stations, negotiate prices, evade pirates, engage in black market transactions, use your financial power to turn the tables in wars, and more.
Developer ParaVerseLab says you'll “shape the economy, form alliances, and influence the systems that control trade, technology, and politics” in Stellar Trader, but no release date has been announced yet. Watch the announcement trailer below for a sneak peek.
You'll constantly acquire and customize new ships, from older ships all the way up to top-tier megaships. You can also build your own space station to influence supply chains and the development of the world from your position in orbit. Economically, in addition to negotiating with potential trading partners, ParaVerseLab says you'll “identify black market opportunities, exploit regional shortages, or stabilize the entire system through strategic logistics.”
In conflict, you can ally yourself with those who have your best interests in mind, and you can “meet unforgettable characters, explore ancient ruins, solve strange puzzles, and experience a personal storyline that includes moments of romance, mystery, and humor.”
