Bethesda has not yet completed supporting SpaceFaring RPG Starfield in 2023. Leading creative producer Tim Lab said in a new video that fans can expect many new updates to the game over time, including a second-tier DLC.
“I'm really happy that players are seeing what the teams are doing all the time. We have some cool stuff coming, including free updates and features players have been asking for, and a new DLC story,” he said. “I can't go into all the details yet, but I'm going to say that part of the team has been focusing on space games to make the trip more meaningful. We've also added some new gaming systems, and some other smaller fun.”
Starfield's first story DLC, Broken spacereleased in September 2024. It adds a new planet as well as more weapons and equipment. There is no news about what DLC might need for next story.
Not surprisingly, Lamb doesn't involve any rumors about the upcoming Starfield Developments, including potential PS5 and Switch 2 versions. Just recently, a reliable leaker said Starfield will be on the PS5 in 2026 and switch to 2. However, it has not been confirmed yet.
In addition to the ongoing support for Starfield, Bethesda Game Studios is also producing Elder Scrolls 6 and Fallout 5. The latest version of the developer's Elder Scrolls IV: Forgotten is The second best-selling game in the United States in 2025.
