Star Citizen “paid” ship upgrade leads to fan uprising

Star Citizena spaceship with a never-ending crowdfunding campaign – the battle game is currently being opposed by players. Developer Cloud Imperium Games recently launched a component that improves ship movements that were originally exclusive to real estate stores, a change that led to a fan uprising.
As reported PC gamersCIG has added flight blades to a recent update, thus improving the operability or speed of the ship, which has caused significant anger from the community. The special issue here is that CIG has only pushed it to the Star Citizen Pledge Store, which sells games like ships, cosmetics and upgrades.
It's not unusual to sell items like flying blades – the Oath Store is the core approach to CIG Crowndund of Game. However, Star Citizen has long had a specification that allows players to purchase upgrades with real money or in-game currency (called AUEC). While the studio promised to purchase through game currency later in the summer, they launched early on players willing to eliminate cash. The flying blade gate is completely behind the real paid Wall, which has caused many fans to hit the bridge. Star Citizen Forum Thread Announces Flying Blade More than 2,000 replies have been accumulated, more than normal threads, most of which are negative.
User Vraxer's top vote commented: “Sales performance changes modules and locks them behind this paywall, even in a short time, is still a definition of winning salary, rather than a definite CIG.” User Morphology wrote: “So if we now separate the new features into website items available for sale, then the next step will go to nyx's exclusive trip key for 3 months? Especially unique new task coordinate key key? It's too far away.”
The fan uprising was so rapid and with such strength that the CIG had to revise its approach to flying blades. In this new threadwhich itself has received over 1,100 replies and a large number of negative reactions, the studio acknowledged that it “missed a step” because it completed this year's game update case “faster than ever”. Instead of starting them to timing exclusivity, Cig delays them until later in the summer and launches them simultaneously with real money and in-game currency. CIG is also committed to simultaneous releases in the future and said: “For future game suite introductions, we will make sure that these items are available in the game on the first day of the game.”
Perhaps not surprisingly, this slight backtracking didn’t calm the frustration of the celebrity citizen player. Many of them continue to be frustrated and angry at the expansion of components for sale seen as “winning”, that is, in normal gaming situations, parts can greatly improve or otherwise change the behavior of the ship. As Saltemike, the highest voter poster, wrote: “It’s a band-aid that calms people down, but the fundamental problem here is that you continue to sell more and more items in the game that have a bigger impact on what players will do every day.”
Since the crowdfunding campaign began in 2013, the change has caused such anger among fans, partly because of the large amount of money raised from early adopters. According to your websiteCIG brought in over $800 million in revenue, an amazing amount of money for a game that is still technically in early access. Accordingly, Star Citizen is considered one of the most expensive games ever.
However, despite the astronomical price tag of the game, CIG still has a record of rock development practice. Last year, it was reported that CIG employees were forced to suffer brutal long hours in the competition and crunched seven days a week and its spin-offs of its first-person shooter games, Squadron 42.
