Sony announces live streaming status in Japan this week

A new State of Play livestream has been announced this week, but this one will be different. Sony has confirmed that State of Play Japan will November 11 at 2pm PT / 5pm ETthe show will focus on games created in Japan and across Asia. Voice actor Kaji Yuki will also host the live broadcast, which will last more than 40 minutes and will be in Japanese with English subtitles.
“From beloved series to unique independent creations, the show, hosted by voice actor Yuki Kaji, will be packed with exciting gameplay, interviews and exciting new looks at games,” Sony said.
As for games, Sony has several products in development in Japan and Asia, such as an upcoming fighting game Marvel Tokon: Battle for Souls From Arc System Works, the studio behind Guilty Gear. Phantom Blade Zero— one of several martial arts-inspired action games to come out recently — would also be a good fit, and Capcom has several projects of its own, like next year's Resident Evil Requiem, Onimusha: Kendoand pragmatic.
Sony's last State of Play live broadcast was held in Septemberand several games from Western studios have also received attention. The biggest highlight is Sharos From Returnal developers Housemarque and Marvel's Wolverine From Insomnia Games.
