“Silent Hill 2” remake sales exceed 2.5 million copies, series sales exceed 10 million copies

It's been over a year since Konami relaunched its long-dormant horror series Silent Hill. Silent Hill 2 Remastered Editionthe publisher provided a sales update, confirming that global sales have now reached 2.5 million copies.

Now, the updated milestone means the 26-year-old series itself has surpassed 10 million units, despite being dormant for more than a decade.
It is reported Jasonthis news is sent via Konami News Video Report Mainly discusses its latest version, silent hill falso debuted to positive response last month. At the beginning of the report, a pop-up text showed: “The “Silent Hill” series has sold more than 10 million copies, and (“Silent Hill F”)'s predecessor, “Silent Hill 2,” has sold more than 2.5 million copies.”
In Silent Hill 2, a remake of the 2001 psychological horror game, you play as protagonist James Sunderland, who is drawn to the horrific titular town after receiving a mysterious letter from his late wife, Mary. IGN Silent Hill 2 Remastered Review gave it an 8/10 rating and called it a “welcome modernization of the survival horror masterpiece”. “Silent Hill” f returns 7/10we called it “a whole new environment to explore and a mesmerizingly dark story to unravel,” but warned that “its melee-focused combat takes a big swing but doesn't quite land.”
