Sega reignites old competition for Nintendo in a spicy trailer Sonic Racing: Crossworlds This doesn't stop it from comparing with the Switch 2 launch title Mario Karting World.
In the voiceover in Crossworlds’ “Come in Your Level” trailer, SEGA highlights the differences between the two races, hyping up the cross-cosmic racing and cross-platform gameplay of its game. Then, the same dubbing sounds boring when quoted Other gamesThe ability to “roam in the open world” is an obvious nod to the Mario Kart world, their open world gameplay has Received a mixed response from fans.
The actual footage that looks like Mario Kart world even appears in the trailer – although Sega has pixelated the video, presumably to avoid being prosecuted.
Compared to Mario Kart World's dusty, old-fashioned RV, the excitement levels of both games are visually represented by smooth and fast racing. One shot shows a stall next to the cow (probably a nod to the game's breakout cow character) and a turtle, an animal known for its speed.
“it is known That Kart racing game, “The voiceover of the trailer says. But what if you can blast and race on another level? What if you can distort on different dimensions, completely customize and build machines and compete head-on on different platforms?
“Or what if you want to…roam the open road…”
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds launched CrossWorlds for PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Switch 1, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on September 25, six months after Mario Kart World arrived at Switch 2.
Crossworlds for the Switch 2 version are also on the way, but strangely, not this month. Could this be that Sega knows it would be better if it's better to leave more gaps between Crossworlds and Mario Kart on Switch 2, or is Nintendo suggesting that SEGA won't release direct competitors so soon?
Anyway, hopefully Nintendo still has a sense of humor when seeing this.
