Scarface: The World Is Yours PC re-release raises more questions than answers

2006, Scarface: The world is yours is an alternate timeline sequel to the 1983 classic film starring Al Pacino as Tony Montana. The game has been down for a long time, but was recently shown as pending re-release on the Epic Games Store and Steam. However, no one seems to have heard of publisher EC Digital, and it's unclear if this is actually happening.

The statement read: “Due to technical issues during the backend configuration process, the game was inadvertently launched on different platforms early. We would like to clarify that our planned long-term release platforms include Steam, and we are now intensifying our efforts to finalize this version.”

Following the initial reports, EC Digital released a statement on Steam saying it had asked Valve to temporarily hide the page “while we deal with ongoing licensing and technical issues.”

The statement also said that EC Digital's plans were disrupted by an unplanned early release and that the company wanted to “apologize to the community for the confusion and concern this situation may have caused. If the situation changes and we are able to resume the game in the future, we will notify you immediately.”
So far, it appears that this is not progressing. However, Scarface Ultimate Collector's Edition It was released on Blu-ray earlier this month.
