Red Death Redemption Fans believe they have now determined the truth behind the recent teasing, suggesting something is happening in Rockstar’s beloved denim series — but that’s not what many fans hope for.
Last week, John Marston actor Rob Wiethoff live streaming. Wiethoff suggests that fans will hear the news this weekend, regardless of the news, and he will not be the only one to share it.
The mystery deepened when Red Dead Redemption 2's Arthur Morgan actor Roger Clark later confirmed that he knew the news, but he couldn't say more. Fans immediately began speculating that the couple was involved in some kind of announcement about the future of the franchise, such as revealing the upgrade Red Death Redemption 2 – have Previously reported on the development of Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Wiethoff, with the hopes of Fefter Pitch, issued a statement earlier this week that was clearly designed to manage expectations. The voice actor of John Marston said in it that he “may have misled some people” and that in terms of the level of excitement of the announcement, he said he “has not released an announcement of the rock star game.”
“I do have something that I'm really excited about, and I do, and I think you'll be the same, too,” Wisov said. “I do think so, but I can mislead some people when I announce that I have something to announce what I can't talk about right now.
“Please recognize – I know you know this, but I think I want to remind you – I won't make an announcement for Rockstar Games. We all know, I'm just reminding you that I won't make an announcement for Rockstar Games. Rockstar Games makes an announcement for Rockstar Games, and they don't use me to do that.”

“Is this announcement so excited?” wrote a fan on Reddit.
“I think so.”
Chapter 3 says: “It would be great if they waited for this convention to show that there would be some kind of update, remake, DLC, next chapter, etc.” “It was absolutely wishful thinking for me.”
Red Dead Redemption 2 was originally launched for PS4 and Xbox One in October 2018 and arrived on PC a year later. Fans have long wanted to use improved versions designed to take advantage of the PS5 and Xbox series X/S, but re-releases or reproductions have not arrived yet after more than five years of launching these consoles.
Of course, Rockstar has been busy during this period, building Grand Theft Auto 6, which will be launched on May 26, 2026. Is there surely time for the Red Dead Dead Redemption 2 patch to pop up before this?
