Riftbound: League of Legends – Where to buy everything you need to get started

“League of Legends” will launch another TCG, but this is a physical card game. Riot has been making a big splash with Riftbound Now that the game's first set of Origins is here, it's been sold out since it was announced.
This makes it tricky Select products at regular pricesso be sure to skip the heavily marked-up items — we expect Riot to be stocking them soon from retailers like Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy.
Currently, it can only be purchased directly through Riot (shipping is around $20 when in stock), or through trusted resale sites like TCGPlayer.
But what should you buy? Where do you start? While we won't explain how to play Riftbound in this guide, we will cover everything you need to play the game.
Why has Riftbound price increased?
Unfortunately, as soon as the first set of Riot’s first card game hit shelves, it was snapped up by scalpers and placed on the secondary market.
This is standard practice in the TCG, but Riot is reportedly printing more. If you can stick with it, there will be more products to come.
Proving ground

The best place to start with Riftbound is Proving grounda starter set that includes four pre-made decks for play with two, three or four players.
Includes Annie, Garen, Lux, and Master Yi, with a guided gameplay experience to help you get started. Each deck comes with upgrade suggestions as well as cards in booster packs (which we’ll get to soon).

booster pack is the backbone of any TCG, and Riftbound is no exception. Each pack contains 14 cards, 7 commons, 3 uncommons, 2 rare or better foils, and 1 foil of any rare.

You can also purchase a box of boosterswhich includes 24 packs. Riot says each box contains “more than 2 special alternative art cards,” so that's something to consider.
Once the price is more stable, you should be able to get a refill box for $119.99.

The first one is Arcane Setwhich includes a presentation box and cards for Jinx, Vee, Heimerdinger, Viktor, Warwick, and Caitlin. These have a unique artistic treatment, but are now sold out.
Riftbound World 2025 Bundle

There is another world bundle Shipping is expected later this year. It includes a Panda Teemo trailer, oversized Battlefield cards, game mat, card box and card sleeve. It was supposed to sell for $99.99, but that price has gone up significantly.
