Retired Lego Atari 2600 is back on Amazon, but maybe not long

After selling out earlier this year, Amazon has added the discontinued Atari 2600 Lego package. We suspect that these LEGOs were excavated from the massive Atari burial site in New Mexico, because unlike ET video games, the Atari 2600 Lego set is great, but interestingly, Amazon has available units. Amazon is charging the original $240 MSRP for this 2,532-piece set, which is also pretty good. Lego retired the Atari 2600 last December, and most retailers were sold out throughout the year.
Earlier this year, Amazon restocked Retired LEGO Nintendo Entertainment Systembut Retailers charge more than $60 for retailers– This $330 price sounds like a deal compared to today's dealer prices. The Atari 2600 is part of the LEGO Icon Series Display Edition for adults and experienced builders. Lego is based on the original version and the model after the most popular classic console, so it has artificial wood boards on the front.
The full console is built at 13 x 8.5 inches. At the highest point, the console is 3 inches from the ground. Four switches – two on both sides – features and mimic the original settings: power, TV type, game selection, game reset. You will also build a small game room on a CRT TV with mini-play asteroids. Diorama also includes other era-friendly details such as landline phones, boom boxes and retro posters. The vignette shown on the console shown in the image above flips over while pushing the front panel.

In addition to the console itself, you can also plug a replica of the CX40 joystick on the back of the system with a cable. You will also combine three Atari 2600 gaming cartridges: Adventure, Cent and Asteroids, and a miniature diorama for each game.

Lego video game hardware construction model
As mentioned earlier, Lego Next’s gaming hardware replica is the original gaming boy. The Lego Game Boy is scheduled to be released on October 1 for $60, a 421-piece model with two cartridges and an authentic design. If you haven't booked the Lego Game Boys, You can still grab one in the LEGO storebut all major retailers sold out at the time of writing. You should also check it out Lego Arcade MachineThis is a 468-piece built arcade cabinet that opens to reveal a game room with 80s themed content. The Lego Arcade machine was released on August 1.
Other large-scale builds of licenses that are still available today are Lego icon: Pac-Man Arcade. This 2,651-piece set comes in $270 on Amazon.
More about gaming hardware construction kits Xbox 360 Collector Building Set. The 1,342-piece kit is exclusive to Target and is for sale for $100 ($150).
Although it is not gaming hardware, it is worth pointing out that Amazon and Walmart Great discounts are available on the Mario & Yoshi Lego Set. 1,215-piece builds created large pixel art models of Mario and Yoshi based on 16-bit SNES Classic. Normally $130, Lego Super Mario World: Mario and Yoshi discount to $104 in a limited time.
