Resident Evil Requiem's Switch 2 Pro Controller is priced at $100 and is now available for pre-order

Resident Evil Requiem is about to launch its own Nintendo Switch 2 Pro controller, which will be released alongside the game on February 27, 2026 and is currently on sale Pre-order at Best Buy for $99.99.
It's the first Switch 2 game to come with a Pro controller, and it's $10 more expensive than the standard version Switch 2 Pro Controller ($89)potentially setting a pricing precedent for these special edition game controllers.
The controller maintains the same black and gray color scheme as the standard model, but the RE-themed front panel stands out and looks like a Raccoon City newspaper clipping.
The words “Resident Evil” appear prominently at the top, with “Requiem” just below it, while the rest of the design features snippets of in-universe articles and haunting images of grim urban environments.
Capcom seems to be putting all the power of Resident Evil Requiem on Switch 2 Several exclusive announcements for the console.
This includes the aforementioned controllers, amiibo, and the “Resident Evil First Generation Pack,” which includes Resident Evil Requiem, Resident Evil 7: Resident Evil Gold Edition, and Resident Evil Village Gold Edition (for Switch 2).
At the time of publication, only best buy and Nintendo (SOLD OUT) Now accepting pre-orders for the first themed Switch 2 Pro controller. However, we also expect companies like Amazon, Walmart, and Target to follow suit soon.
