Limited running game requires Nintendo to delete GEX Trilogy From sales Nintendo Switch 2 eShop until when will a patch be deployed to resolve backward compatibility issues for the game.
Limited Run said in a statement to social media that the patch was not expected to arrive due to delays in approval, which was related to yesterday's U.S. public holiday. So, meanwhile, the publisher said it has directed Nintendo to launch the game.
Limited Run said it has faced backward compatibility issues with Switch 2, with many of its games originally released on Switch 1, and GEX Trilogy still suffers despite the recent Switch 2 firmware update that improved the “most” of its title. The company then tried to fix the issue with a patch that developers are still waiting for public releases.

“At the same time, we asked Nintendo to remove the game from Switch 2 Eshop. Thank you for your patience when working with Nintendo to solve these issues.”
