'Predator: Wildlands' director wants franchise rights to games like Assassin's Creed or Uncharted

Even though the Predator franchise has been around for nearly four decades, it hasn't seen many video game adaptations that live up to the original film. Dan Trachtenberg, director of “Predator,” “Predator: Killer of Killers” and the upcoming “Predator: Wasteland,” wants to see that change. He believes that Predator deserves to be compared to two AAA games.
“I would really love to have a third-person action-adventure game, an open-world game like Uncharted or Assassin's Creed,” Trachtenberg said. IGN. “Unfortunately, Concrete Jungle is something I missed. It was a long time ago. I think there would be a lot of fun playing with Predator. I hope it comes to fruition.”
Predator: Concrete Jungle Released in 2005, Predator puts players in control of a Predator who must reclaim his lost technology from the humans who stole it. While Trachtenberg hasn't played the game, he did reveal that he once designed a Predator video game level as part of a competition for defunct gaming magazine GamePro.
“I used to love GamePro, and there was a competition…to design a level, and then you would publish it in a magazine,” Trachenberg recalls. “I submitted, I designed a level for the Predator video game that I was sure I was just ripping off from Contra. But I didn't include it in the magazine.”
