Post: Bullet Paradise canceled almost immediately after reveal, AI accusations blamed

Earlier this week, Run with Scissors launched a new look Post: Bullet ParadiseIt is a spin-off of The Post developed by Goonswarm Games and is a shooting game similar to Vampire Survivor. However, fan backlash over the alleged artificial intelligence elements of Bullet Paradise led to Scissor Run canceling the game entirely.
“Following the reveal of Post: Bullet Paradise, Run with Scissors was planned for publication but not in development, but we have been overwhelmed by the negative response from the community regarding Post,” Run with Scissors founder Vince Deci said in a statement. “Their strong feedback was that elements of the game were likely to be AI-generated and were therefore causing significant harm to our brand and company reputation.”
Desi noted that Running With Scissors has lost trust in Goonswarm Games, which is why the project has now been terminated. Later, Goonswarm Games released a statement Computer GamesN The studio denies using artificial intelligence in the game or in the trailer shown above.
“No generative AI was used in the trailer or in the game,” the statement reads. “All assets were created by our human artists using standard tools. We have shared layered PSDs, work-in-progress files, and other materials to confirm this. Any errors or rough spots in these files could be misconstrued as 'evidence' of AI, but they simply reflect the normal human art creation process.”
In June this year, “Scissor Run” was announced Remastered version of Postal Service 2Post2 Redux. The game is developed by Flat2VR Studios, Team Beef and Running With Scissors for modern consoles and PC. But there is currently no release date for the project.
