Pokémon TCG Crown Peak Price Trends – The Biggest Passenger and Crasher (August 2025)

Crown Zenith Market has been sending some mixed signals this month. While some California galleries have reduced their super rare value, secret rares are heating up due to collector demand and limited availability. Favorite among middle-level fans LEAGEON VSTAR and SUICUNE v See downward pressure, while the golden secret is rare – especially Giratina Vstar and Arceus Vstar – Continue to climb. The overall collector appeal of Crown Zenith is still high, but the card movement tells a more nuanced story.
TL;DR: Crashers and climbers this week
On the climber side, I've seen it Giratina Vstar (secret) From around $152 in July, it has been as high as $180 recently. It's a healthy 18% increase, and it tracks what I've seen in the collector circle: People are still chasing four gold medals, and Giratina seems to be the jewel in the crown. mewtwo vstar Recently, it has also seized some uptrend, jumping from about $102 to nearly $127. It's not just about this nostalgia- Its twin art features opposite Charizard It is the iconic and playable deck that still finds space for this.
On the other hand, LEAGEON VSTAR From its February peak, it fell by $49.87 to $45.54. It's not a dramatic collapse, but it's enough to show that the hype has faded away. Deoxys Vmax It feels sharp, and now it's close to $45, and now it's $36. These cards are never unplayable, but they don't get the same attention in meta or collectors.
Pokémon Card Crashers
LEAGEON VSTAR Riding high earlier this year is largely based on its gorgeous Galarian gallery artwork and the strength of the general hype around. But recently, its value has dropped by about 9%. I think this is a mixture of competitive correlations of oversaturation and fading. The Ivy Star is a solid switch ability, and the Leafeon deals a little damage, but the format gets faster and more aggressive, and Leafeon doesn't keep up. It's still a nice display piece, but more copies float around, and other secret rare figures attract people's focus, it's falling.
Glaceon Vstar On a similar ship. It is down about 10% from its February high and is currently around $43. The Crystal Star offers decent protection, and the Icicle Shot has some control value, but to be honest – no one will build a deck around this card. Like Leafeon, the early demand for collectors to chase all eeveelution spread also inflated its value, but that moment seems to have passed. It's still a powerful work of art, but in today's market, that's not enough.
Deoxys Vmax It has dropped by nearly 20% since February and I am not surprised. Protective DNA is a cool ability on paper to reduce damage to relative VSTARS, but is actually a bit too niche. Max Drain heals and hits 160, which is decent a few numbers before, but feels less than enough now. Players aren't reaching it, collectors are more focused on cleaner, more flickering secrets rare.
SUICUNE v It has suffered a heavy blow since May, down about 24%. This guy is a little hurt because I still think Blizzard Rondo and the Fleet Trail give it solid game value. But it's tough, and it's less effective in the deck. The artwork is still clean, there is nostalgia here, but in the context of the Gagliarien Gallery it has been eliminated. There are so many cards in the collection, not every V has long-term value.
Raikou Following a similar path, it has dropped by about 22% since March. Basically, this is the Lightning Twin of Suicune V, with the same drawing ability and scalable damage based on Desktop Pokémon. Again, decent in a vacuum, but now there are better, more dynamic options. It feels like the victim of setting fatigue – there are so many similar cards in Crown Valley, only the top cards attract the attention of collectors or players.
Pokémon Rock Climber
Giratina Vstar (secret) There is a real moment. It jumped nearly 18% last month and I honestly think it still has more room to grow. Lost Influence and Star Requiem are both end-of-game tools in the right deck, while Alt-Art Gold Treats brings it close to the top of many collectors’ wishlists. If you are looking for a high-end crown Zenith card, it feels stable.
mewtwo vstar It has also quietly soared since June, climbing about 24%. Both Star Raid and Psy Purge offer serious utilities, especially in matches where you want to punish your opponent using VS. But let's be a reality – this is the rise of art and gameplay. The Charizard vs. Mewtwo scene is one of the most memorable Alt-Arts in the scene, and people start to grab it before the price rises.
arceus vstar (secret) Having seen a 14% stable boost, it is one of those cards that perfectly spans playability and collectibility. Starbirth remains one of the most powerful consistency abilities in the game, allowing you to pick up two cards from the deck. Trinity Nova can help ramp energy quickly, which will never be outdated. Gold Art has a high-end feel, and Arceus is a central figure in the franchise, a card that is easy to like for a long time.
Origin combination Dialga VSTAR (secret) It's been up 16% since July and I think people are finally waking up to the strong intensity of the Star. The extra turn is one of the rarest effects in the game, which is absolutely devastating when paired with the correct energy acceleration. Metal explosion is also good. From a collector’s perspective, the art with gears and time themes is breathtaking, while scarcity maintains high demand.
Finally, the origin constructs palkia vstar (secret) Climbing about 13%. Star Portal is still one of the best ways to recycle water energy, and subspace expansion scales well with a full bench, which is common in the current list. The art has a vibrant aquatic style that truly grows in people. It may not be as flashy as Giratina, but it is a steady booster, and I won't be surprised soon.
