Pokémon Market Watch: Biggest Price Drop and Raising Drafts
Blog Andrew Joseph 14 Jul , 2025 0

The base prices of scarlet and violet have been stable lately, illustrations are rare and the Jazz will soon calm down. I've been following a few cards that stood out this month, some of which were surprising and some harder than expected. Here's a quick look at the Pokémon TCG card is crashing and climbing before the final scarlet and violet suit is released Black bolts and white flares.
Pokémon TC G Crashers
Lately, I've been focusing on the basic prices for scarlet and violet, and Psychic Type Illustration Rares seems to be the one who moves forward. Ralts 211/198 Always climbing quietly. It's now priced at about $38.99, up about 28% this month. For basic cards with simple art and a single psysthot attack, this is not what I see. The same is true Kirlia 212/198. It can reach up to $27.99, reflecting the percentage increase of Ralts. This evolution line seems to be growing in popularity as a group, not just personal game value.
Speaking of evolution, Guarder Ex 245/198 It must be riding in the same wave. The latest price was $54.99, up from $41.19 a month ago. I don't personally play Gardeno, but the psychological embrace ability keeps on the deck list, so it makes sense for the price to rise when you watch collectors and competitive needs blend in with each other. Miraidon Ex 244/198 and Koraidon EX 247/198 It's seeing its own rise, and now both are now about $23.99. Not a big jump compared to the Gardevoir, but it's stable enough to notice if you're always releasing these products. Thanks in particular to Miraidon, with the ability of this double unit, it still looks like it remains worthwhile in lightning-fast building.
Pokémon TCG Climber
On the other hand, some cards are definitely cooling down. Fidough 213/198 Suffering from a 15% hit rate, it now hovers around $13.74. Lovely card, but it doesn't have totally excellent abilities or attacks, so it feels more like a natural correction. Armarouge 203/198 It's only about 11%. If the fire deck makes a comeback, I can see it recover to a certain point later, but for the moment, it is sliding. On 208/198The price drop has caught my attention more and is currently down 19%. I think that's related to Lightning deck element movement. Its cubeless ability no longer transfers the price of the needle.
Bow 207/198 and Starly 221/198 Both see the sharpest drops, now each drop is $9.99. Dondozo lost 30% this month, while 37% were even more obvious. I've never really seen both hypes except for the early scarlet and violet excitement, so the drop didn't surprise me. It feels like people are figuring out what is actually playable or collectable.
Pokémon TCG Giant Evolution Booking
That's it, launching a new extension to Pokémon TCG. Best Buy has allocated reservations for the big evolution today, meaning Target and Walmart won't fall behind. Here are all the links and good luck trainers you need!
Pokémon TCG price update
I can't believe I'm writing this, but Amazon has a lot of sealed Pokémon TCG products for the market value. Although unfortunately, that means it is still higher than retailers, some of the sets are the best prices last month.
Car crashers and climbers in the last few weeks
With the newer Pokémon TCG sets attracting attention, Paradox Rift sees the value of its premium jazz dropping, while several illustrations quietly climb as collectors shift interest and lower inventory. Cards like Altaria Ex, GholdGo EX and Steelix fell between 16% and 25%, while illustrations including Morpeko, Plusle, Minun, Groudon and Iron Valiant are climbing fast, with Morpeko leading the way at 43%. This reflects an earlier trend where fewer flash cards gain traction as availability tightens.
