Platinum Games Delta of Metal Equipment: Snake Eater's Secret Mode

Konami confirmed that Platinum Games, the developer of well-known action champions including Bayonetta and Nier: Automata, contributed to the development of Konami's Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Specifically, Platinum creates a new version of Snake's Nightmare, an Easter egg that long-time MGS3 fans will undoubtedly like to return.
Snake's Nightmare is a third-person action sequence that can be accessed by saving the game when the snake is captured and thrown into jail. When the save file reloads, the player wakes up in another world like hell, with a mysterious man waving his hook to play the role of a demon in the cemetery.
The mini game (also known as Guy Savage by fans) was originally written and directed by Shuyo Murata, who contributed many other Metal Gear Solid projects to part of the original Kojima Productions team. Although Metal Gear Solid 3 has been reissued in various forms since its debut on PlayStation 2, Snake's Nightmare/Guy Savage has been omitted in most people.
For Delta, a full and faithful remake of the original MGS3, Konami took an extra mile and brought platinum to rebuild the hidden mode. As stated in our review, this is a great reward for Easter eggs. Platinum is a master of the action game genre and has previously worked with Konami, Metal Gear Reveagance, a spin-off for Raiden. Their expertise showed a great display in Snake's nightmare, which felt keen and satisfying.
