Phasmophiobia's new haunted restaurant map will be available in November

phobia Developer Kinetic Games has unveiled a new map for the game, set in an abandoned restaurant. The location – Nier's restaurant – was revealed during the recent TwitchCon panel celebrating the co-op horror game's fifth anniversary, and players can explore it starting on November 11th.

Kinetic Games describes Neil's Diner as a “shabby retro restaurant” that has long since been abandoned by both staff and diners. While this is one of the smaller maps in Phasmophobia, it's still packed with authentic details and thrill-hungry apparitions.

“We always thought a restaurant would be a perfect fit, so Nell's was born, and it was a really fun challenge to bring it to life,” lead developer Daniel Knight said in a press release. “In addition to this year's farmhouse rework, Nell's map is an example of what we want all maps in Phasmophobia to look like moving forward. It's unique and thoughtfully designed to tell more of a story to our players—beyond the immediate ghost they're hunting.”

Phasmophobia will release version 1.0 next year, But that's just the beginning of big plans for Kinetic's hit game. Upcoming overhaul——Called Horror 2.0— will be released alongside 1.0, an update the studio says will make Phasmaphobia feel like a new game. Hollywood is also calling for production company Blumhouse (Five Nights at Freddy's, Paranormal Activity, The Purge and Insidious) –The game is being adapted for the big screen.
