Peak heads to the woods in November

The much-anticipated Peak Forest biome will arrive on November 5, according to a video released by developer Landfall. The new biome will be released as part of the November Roots update, which may also include other content.
Judging from the short video, the new biome will feature a lush forest filled with redwood-like trees, vines, spiders to attract players, and wooden structures built into the trees. The video also shows some mushrooms scattered in the background.
Landfall hasn't shared much else on social media or Steam, leaving players speculating about what new badges might appear in the update, which biome this new map will rotate with in the daily map update, and what else might be hidden among the trees in this new area.
The last major update introduced the mesa biome, a desert dominated by tornadoes and scorching heat that rotates alongside the alpine biome. Fans speculate that this biome will rotate alongside the Tropics biome, which follows the starting biome Coast.
Other updates include new badges and new biomes. The tabletop update brings some specific challenges, so fans are confident they'll have new badges to collect next month as well.
