The thief's sea Developer Rare announces its first community direct broadcast to discuss the game's upcoming long-term future, a week later Microsoft's latest layoffs Try the studio hard.

Last week, Xbox chief Phil Spencer said personnel cuts and cancellations such as Everwild and Perfect Dark Relake are necessary to ensure the company's continued success and allow Xbox to “focus on the strategic growth areas.”
“If a game is in development for 7 to 10 years, cancelling feels like the worst move,” EA Japan Boss Shaun Noguchi said in response. “It’s a decade of work, probably a total loss to a quarter of people (SIC) as a whole career (SIC). Even if the final product isn’t what people initially expected, I think it’s still worth shipping.”
