On Amazon, get Mac mini with Apple's latest chips for only $500

Apple is very popular M4 MAC Mini Desktop Computer Amazon sells for just $500. To get the full $99 savings, you need to click on the coupon box that costs less than the price, which reduces it from $549 to $500. Released last fall, the latest entry-level Mac Mini Punch is higher than its $599 MSRP. If you are buying a desktop computer market for $500 or less, finding a better option than the 2024 Mac Mini will be a challenge unless you need to use MacOS-enabled software.

As mentioned earlier, Amazon's deal is for the basic Model M4 Mac Mini. Only at 5 x 5 x 2 inches, the Mac Mini is a very compact machine, so it's perfect for those with minimal desk space. The M4 has a 10-core GPU and a 10-core CPU. Four of the CPU cores are performance cores, while the other six are efficiency cores. It also has a 16-nuclear neuroengine for machine learning operations.
The base model has 256GB SSD and 16GB unified memory. The latter is essentially a ram; it has the nickname of “unified” because the CPU and GPU in the Apple Silicon chip are pulled from the same memory library. The M4's memory bandwidth is 120GB per second.
The main drawback of the Mac Mini is that you basically want to buy a computer tower, so you need to provide all the cables except for the keyboard, mouse, monitor and power cord. But it does have many ports in front and behind:

The M4 Mac Mini supports up to three monitors. If you have a monitor that supports 4K (or higher) resolution, the three can run at 4K+ resolution at 60Hz refresh rate. When using one or two monitors instead of three monitors, the maximum refresh rate is 240Hz.
Since the 2024 MAC miniseries lasted only about six months, no one knows how the M4-equipped model will keep it over time. That said, Apple's track record on Mac Minis and MacBooks shows that you can use it for more than five years of continuous performance. Five years is a very conservative estimate, as there are many Apple users who still use laptops and desktops they bought more than 10 years ago.

Although its specifications seem to be the same as the MAC Mini, it is worth noting that the M4 chip in the base model MacBook Air has an 8-core GPU instead of the Mini's 10-core GPU.
