Nintendo fans convince Super Mario Galaxy movies to confirm long-standing theories surrounding the origins of Peach and Rosalina

Nintendo's Super Mario Galaxy Movie The announcement has rushed fans back to the first Mario movie, and a teasing scene, which seems to create the just-announced sequel.
This scene, coupled with Nintendo's look likely to adapt to the plot of Mario Galaxy video games, has attracted fans' speculation that we will see a large number of Super Mario Lore confirmations after decades of debate.
Super Mario Galaxy The Space Princess Nintendo itself is a characteristic of Rosalina, who said it has similarities with Princess Peach. In the first Galaxy game, Rosalina's backstory is revealed through the storybook pages, her journey through the stars as she searches for her long-lost parents.
Rosalina's parents were vague, but her mother's photos remained heavily covered. But Nintendo is said to have planned a more specific backstory that is linked to Rosalina and the Mushroom Kingdom, who somehow has something to do with peaches.
Years later, Hawkeye fans discovered a mysterious teasing in 2023 Super Mario Bros. Moviein a scene where Peach discusses her origins and reveals how she first arrived at the Mushroom Kingdom.
“You don't seem to come from here,” Mario said.
“I don't know where I came from,” Taozi replied. “My earliest memories come,” she continued, flashbacks showing her age, a toddler who appears in the mushroom kingdom through a warp tube. Wearing a dress decorated with stars and satellites, he was soon found by a group of toads. “I'm lucky that they found me. They took me in and raised me like one of them, and when I was ready they made me a princess.”
“Maybe you're from my world?” Mario suggested, although Peach seems to disagree.
“There is a huge universe there with lots of galaxies in it,” she suggests, the camera pulling backwards to focus on the night sky.
It's a nod to Peach's own galaxy origins, and Nintendo eventually shunned the connection between her and Rosalina not long ago.
Mario Games is not known for its stories, and Yoshiaki Koizumi, director of Super Mario Galaxy, admitted that he secretly wrote Galaxy storybooks every night after other developers left the office. Eventually, he even surprised Nintendo Legend Shigeru Miyamoto with this idea, eventually including an adapted version of his planned.
Without further details on the connection between the two characters, and Nintendo seems eager to keep a vague attitude, fans have been arguing whether Peach has ever planned to plan Peach with Rosalina's mother (or even the contrary) plans, or whether it has ever planned to be a sibling as a sibling.
Has Nintendo now taken a soft stance on keeping Rosalina's story secret? Last week's Nintendo Direct also provided some clues. Koizumi and Miyamoto both appeared, the former announced the physical version of Galaxy's Storybook as a matching product, and will include other storybook pages for the first time in the Switch 2 reissue of Switch 2 Relealease Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2.
With the Super Mario Galaxy movie entering space next year, fans may end up with some answers.
