Nintendo confirms the secret switch 2 exclusively drags the X drive for public demos – but you need an online subscription to play

Switch 2 owners will be able to use the upcoming Nintendo exclusive Drag the X drive For next month's test runs – but only online subscription via active switches.
This morning, Nintendo confirmed a two-day drag X-drive “Global Jam” event from August 9 to 10, the weekend before arrival on August 14.
Nintendo has so far less meaning to the Drag X Drive, which will follow Donkey Kong Bananza as the company's next company Switch 2 Exclusive. The game is a multiplayer sports game with mouse controls that has only briefly caught glimpse so far, although it has been launched in less than a month.
“Hungry to play court in Drag X Drive? Peek with Drag X Drive: Global JAM Demo Event!” Nintendo wrote today, announcing the upcoming public trial of the game. “This event was held from August 9 to 10 and is dedicated to the Nintendo Switch 2 among Nintendo Switch Online members.”
If you are interested, you can download and try the game's global jam demo between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m. on August 9, then at 9 p.m. and Pacific on August 10.
While Drag X Drive is a multiplayer-focused experience, some fans say it's surprising that seeing demos of the game are limited to Nintendo Switch online subscriptions. Nintendo has previously pointed out that there is no local multiplayer option in the game, but the company certainly hopes that the demo can be used for the largest Switch 2 audience possible?

The game's previous demo, which could be done as part of the Switch 2's in-person release pre-release campaign, reveals that Drag X Drive is the three counter-match sports champions with gameplay similar to wheelchair basketball. Players must push themselves on the neon court during the game and make a throwing move to pass or shoot on the basketball hoop.
It's totally possible to see which mode is available in the full game, or indeed this global jam can be seen. Nintendo, however, said Drag the X drive will be the budget price releasepriced at $19.99/£16.99, and digital titles for ESHOP only.
All of this is ahead of Nintendo's blockbuster ass bananza will arrive later this week. yesterday, Nintendo lets fans peek behind development curtains I've seen a glimpse of the game on Switch 1.
