The Baltimore Ravens are off to a 1-5 start to the NFL season, and the coaching staff is apparently taking steps to turn things around, including removing certain items from the locker room to help players focus.
According to reports, a series of leisure items such as video game consoles, cornhole boards, ping pong tables, and basketball hoops have been temporarily removed from the team's locker rooms.
“Baltimore Sun” writer Sam Cohen said Some Ravens players enjoy playing Super Smash Bros. in the locker room while teammates watch, but that's now coming to an end. Players told The Sun the coaching staff wanted to eliminate player distractions.
The videos were apparently deleted after the Ravens started 1-3 and have since lost two more games to fall to 1-5.
“The only thing worse is 0-6, so, yeah, that's a big hole. We've got to bounce back,” center Tyler Linderbaum said. “We have 11 games left to fight for the top spot.”
The Ravens took the field again this Sunday (October 26), defeating the Chicago Bears 4-2 at home.
