Microsoft has launched a new Xbox update that allows players to further customize the home screen, and the changes sound good. Microsoft explain They received feedback from fans and they wanted the home screen on the Xbox to be more personalized. Specifically, fans asked Microsoft to hide tiles they don't use often, often making the home screen “less crowded”. Microsoft said the new update is to get fans to update some and take those issues into account.
“This update is part of our ongoing efforts to make your feedback more personal, flexible and responsive to your family,” the company explained.

So what is in the new update? First, the home screen now has three new settings, the first one being “Hide System Application”. Although the system application would have appeared under “Recent Game Play”, this will not happen again. The second new setting is “Sales for Sales,” which allows users to pin up to the most recently played games or apps to the list of recently played. “When you publish other content, these pins will stay at the front of the list, giving you quick access to your preferred title,” Microsoft said.
The third is to “reduce the tiles count”. This is not available yet, but when it arrives, users will be able to reduce the number of tiles displayed in the recently played games and app list. “We're still refining this setup and it will be rolling out soon,” Microsoft said.
