New Kirby Amiibo is ready for booking – Here's how they work

If you're a fan of the cute pink puff ball Kirby, you're sure to expect Kirby Air Riders to reach 2 on November 20. Since Nintendo is reluctant, the company is also releasing a pair of Amiibo Figures and playing them with the new game. There is one Kirby and Warp Star Amiibo and Bandana Waddle Dee and Winged Stars. They both retail for $49.99 (a bit shocking) and will be released on the same day as the game itself.

The reason for the extra expenses is that these expenses are more refined than most Amiibo characters. For everyone, you get a character and a character and vehicle that works together in a fun way, especially if you have two numbers. Continue reading for details.

How Kirby Aerial Rider Amiibo works

So how exactly do these things work? When you place Kirby on the Warp Starcart and click on it on the Switch 2 controller, it creates an in-game player (think NPC) that will race on tracks in the race. As the FP competes in the competition, it will upgrade and its machine capability level will also improve. (The machine capability is basically the score of that role and vehicle combination).

If you have the two Amiibo numbers above, you can swap riders on the vehicle. This way you can ride Kirby's FP on the winged stars or Bandana Waddle Dee on the Warp Star. When you do this, the FP character keeps its level, but since it's a new car, machine proficiency starts from scratch. You can watch the video above to see what it does.

Nintendo says that more of these Kirby Air riders Amiibo will be released in the future to create more character/machine combinations for your FPS. Additionally, Nintendo plans to host a second Kirby Aviation rider directly by Sakura, during which he may provide additional details about these (upcoming) Amiibos.
